Alyx believes in the power of music to connect people, to hold up a mirror to the big, deeply held feelings and beliefs that make us human. Their songs have been referred to as "honest," "lyric-driven," "forthright," and "big-hearted," and reflect experiences that are at once personal and universal. They owe an eternal debt of gratitude to the songwriting communities at the Old Town School of Folk Music and the Rocky Mountain Song School for their encouragement.
